I can easily say that Netflix has won.  We signed up for the $ 8.99 USD option that entails having out 1 DVD at a time and allow unlimited “downloading” of movies.  We finally signed up for this after our most recent Blockbuster movie rental cost $ 5.00 USD.

We signed up yesterday and have already “got our monies worth” this month as last night we watched the Maxed Out documentary, 1972’s Deliverance and I started to watch a PBS documentary about being married in America.  When our internet conection was slowed or interupted (thanks Comcast) whatever we were watching came up as a red screen and said it was buffering.  You are not actually downloading the movies you are just watching them streaming from a Netflix server.

For under $ 10.00 a month we love it.  If you compare it to a $ 5.00 dollar per rental at Blockbuster or adding cable TV to our internet plan for an additional $40.00 a month, the ten dollars a month and being able to watch watever you want is amazing.  I also received an email today saying the DVD in our Netfilx que of Madagasgar was mailed today and will arrive in a day or two.

Netflix I am in love.
